Event Details

The National African-American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. During the read-in, gather with others to share poetry, literary excerpts and original works by African-American authors. Listen to the readings or participate by reading your own writings or favorite excerpts to the audience. Reading submissions can be sent to opladultprogramming@gmail.com. Presented in partnership with MNU’s Mabee Learning Commons and Office of Intercultural Engagement.
