Calan performs the traditional music of Wales on accordion, fiddle, pipes and harp, supported by the percussive sound of clogging. The band has won numerous awards, ranging from “Best Band” in 2010 at the prestigious Festival Interceltique de Lorient (Lorient Interceltic Festival) to “Best Band” at the 2019 Wales Folk Awards. They have appeared with Sting in the Royal Albert Hall, in addition to playing local folk clubs and giant festivals across Europe and North America. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
