Reserving a Room at the Library
Study rooms
The Olathe Public Library offers a variety of meeting spaces for the public. Reservations may be made up to three months in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers reserving a study room must provide a current, verified library card in good standing and be at least 13 years old.
- Free and available for individuals and small groups
- 4-person, 6-person, and 8-person study rooms are available

Meeting and Programming Rooms
The Olathe Public Library provides meeting rooms for non-profit groups and organizations. These rooms include the Indian Creek Library Board Room, the Downtown Library Community Room, the Downtown Creative Space, and the Children's Program Rooms at both the Indian Creek and Downtown Libraries. To reserve these rooms, you must have a current, verified library card in good standing and be at least 16 years old for the Children’s Program Rooms, Downtown Library Community Room, and Downtown Creative Space.
- Free of charge for meetings of non-profit groups and community organizations.
- Limited to 15 or fewer participants
- You must be 18 years old for the Indian Creek Library Board Room.

All customers reserving rooms are expected to read and follow the accompanying policy. Failure to comply with the following rules may result in loss of room privileges.
Event Space Rental
Olathe Public Library (OPL) offers three event space rentals as part of the City of Olathe's Venues at 061
- Indian Creek Library Event Space
- Downtown Library Flexbox Theater
- Downtown Library Copeland Rooftop Terrace.
