Calling Kansas City Home: Kelly Hunt

Memphis-born Kelly Hunt livestreams from the Indian Creek Library's studio for a Facebook Live event. Hunt now calls Kansas City home, and her vintage calfskin banjo, self-taught picking techniques, expressive voice and catalog of amazing songs have filled concert venues large and small. Her stunning debut album “Even The Sparrow” captured the attention of legions of top tier music critics, including Rolling Stone magazine, who labeled her song, “Across the Great Divide” one of “Ten Best Country Songs to Hear Now…”.  She’s a superb writer, dynamic live performer and cinematic storyteller.
