View award-winning short films, Mr. Connolly Has ALS and The Barber of Augusta, and stay for a community conversation about local disability support and accessibility resources. Each film spotlights people with disabilities, showcasing their real stories, triumphs, challenges, and possibilities, as well as the communities and networks that surround them. Stay for a presentation and popcorn sales by Poppin’ Joe, a local entrepreneur with Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This event is presented in partnership with Olathe Public Schools and Olathe’s Persons with Disabilities Advisory Board (PDAB).
