Come enjoy a storytime at Indian Creek Park!  Bring a blanket and enjoy stories, songs and fingerplays. Stories will be geared to 3-to-5-year-olds, but all are welcome. In case of rain, storytime will be cancelled.

The Snowball quilt block is fast and easy to construct. Participants will be making the blocks to create the center of a table runner with easily pieced blocks on the ends. Quilting and binding will be covered.

Each week, learn a different sustainable habit that can prevent plastic from polluting the ocean. Pick up project supplies and take home information on how to continue your eco-friendly habit.

Make a splash with mermaid-themed crafts. For 6th-12th graders. 

Watch ocean themed movies at the Movie Reel! Grab some snacks and settle in for a fin-tastic time! 

Design your own beach terrarium with sand, shells and creatures of the deep. Includes an air plant.

You and your crewmates are in a sinking submarine. Work in teams to fix the sub before it sinks to the bottom of the ocean, you along with it.

Come create a clothespin puppet pirate and a puppet character of your own.  

Play casual and competitive Esports games with teens locally and nationally. Games include, but are not limited to, Minecraft, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and Smash Bros.

Can’t get enough anime and manga? Meet up and share manga drawings, watch anime, learn about Japanese culture and talk about manga and anime. We’ll serve refreshments, which may include Japanese treats. For 6th-12th graders. 

Bring your Pokémon cards and Beyblades to trade or battle with friends. A few Pokémon decks, Beyblades and an arena will be provided for play. Don’t know how to play? No worries! We’ll get you started! For 4th-8th graders. 

Learn basic hand embroidery techniques, then use a pattern to create an ocean-themed design.

Explore literature activities and writing prompts and chat about books.

Children will receive their own copy of The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart to read before the program.
