Olathe Community Center instructors lead a passive practice in which poses are held for a few minutes at a time. This practice focuses on deep stretching and restorative poses to improve mental clarity and offer deep relaxation.

Play casual and competitive Esports games with teens locally and nationally. Games include, but are not limited to, Minecraft, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and Smash Bros.

Ambassadors work side-by-side with library staff, attend community events, help plan teen programs and network and collaborate with students, community leaders and organizations to spread the word about the library and teen services.

See what you can do with a bag of random library LEGOs®. Use your imagination to build something cool with just those pieces. No swapping or trading with others, that’s part of the challenge and the fun. 

Meet up with other LGBTQIA+ youth and allies for snacks, conversation, and a safe space. For 6th - 12th graders. 

Get together with other Pokémon players to play the popular card game and hang out! Bring your Pokémon cards to trade or battle with friends. A few decks will be provided for players to learn how to play. Play with others in a bayblades battle!

Bring your instrument and jam with us, share a song, or just listen. Bluegrass artist Greg Blake, lead vocalist and guitarist for the band The Special Consensus, will lead the jam session.
