Alicia DeFonzo will speak about her writing process and debut book, The Time Left Between Us, a memoir of the author’s cross-generational journey, retracing her grandfather, Del’s tour as a combat engineer in WWII Europe, through D-Day, The Bulge, Remagen and concentration camp liberations. Alicia DeFonzo is a Senior Lecturer of English at Old Dominion University and a Fulbright Specialist.
