Please join the Olathe Public Library as we celebrate Dr. King's birthday by hosting a day of service projects for local nonprofit agencies and celebrate with learning and crafting activities at both library locations.

The library will have several projects that you can assist with. It is a perfect opportunity for families on Olathe to honor Dr. King's Legacy through service. Storytimes along with movies will take place at Indian Creek Library locations.

Family-friendly service projects: 10 am to 4 pm
Children's craft: 1 pm to 2 pm
Children's storytime: 11 am                                                                                                                            Studio: Record a video of what "I have a dream' means to you in the sound recording studio.
Hidden Figures (PG): 10 am & 2 pm
The Rebellious Life Of Mrs. Rosa Parks (2022): 12 pm

MLK Jr. Food Drive: Barrels for non-perishable donations available at both libraries from January 14 - February 14 to benefit local pantries that partner with Harvesters.
