Oceans of Kansas: When Amber Waves Were Blue

Step back in time with paleontologist Mike Everhart, who will share the amazing story of prehistoric Kansas and its once vast ocean. Everhart is the Adjunct Curator of Paleontology at Fort Hays State's Sternberg Museum of Natural History. He has authored two Kansas Notable books: Oceans of Kansas – A Natural History of the Western Interior Sea and Sea Monsters: Prehistoric Creatures of the Deep. His discoveries have been featured on the History and Discovery channels. We will give away a copy of Oceans of Kansas at the program.
