Olathe Community Center instructors lead a passive practice in which poses are held for a few minutes at a time. This practice focuses on deep stretching and restorative poses to improve mental clarity and offer deep relaxation.

Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Want to learn to make garments, accessories, afghans, stuffed animals, and so much more? Join us as we learn the absolute basics of crochet. 

It's the year of the snake! Come and celebrate Lunar New Year with crafts, games, a movie, and other activities.

Take our beginner's Cosplay course and learn about how to break down a costume so that you can make your own. This is a lecture style course, there will be no completed project.

If you love trading card games, this is the place for you! Use our card mats and starter decks to learn the ropes. Already an expert? Feel free to bring your own cards and materials and play for fun.

Olathe Community Center instructors lead a gentle yoga practice from the comfort of a chair. Poses are great for those with limited mobility, or anyone looking for a low-impact way to re-center during a busy day.

Find a volunteer job that matches your interests and talents. Visit with a variety of local organizations with volunteer opportunities and/or job opportunities.

Visit our crafting station for a monthly project. Register your children for their own craft program (Crafternoon for Kids) while you craft in peace.

Have you mastered the basics of crochet and are looking to expand your skills? In this class, we will build on the basic chain and single crochet stitches to make more advanced pieces. 

Read and discuss a book from a different genre each month. Participants will receive a free copy of the book upon registration.
