Explore stories, songs and fingerplays. Stories will be geared to 3-to-5-year-olds, but all are welcome. Please register each family member attending. The 10:15 session is a repeat of 9:30.

Enjoy a FIN-tastic storytime before the Olathe Parks and Rec's Preschool Splash (small fee applies). In case of bad weather, storytime will be held inside the Olathe Community Center.

Go on a virtual adventure, solve the themed puzzle, and see if you can breakout of the virtual escape room before it’s too late. For teens in 6th - 12th grades.

Play casual and competitive Esports games with teens locally and nationally. Games include but are not limited to Minecraft, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and Smash Bros.

Drop off your children at Crafternoon for Kids and drop-in for a Crafternoon of your own! Visit our crafting station for adults while the kids are at their program.

Explore different art techniques and express yourself with drop-in craft projects.

Learn about a different artist each month and create something inspired by their works. 

Meet up with other LGBTQIA+ youth and allies for snacks, conversation, and a safe space. For 6th - 12th graders. 

Celebrate National Poetry Month by learning two simple and fun poetry writing techniques: Blackout Poetry and Collage Poetry.

Play video games on the Xbox, PS5 and the Nintendo Switch. For 4th-8th graders. 

Enjoy a read-aloud of Nola's Scribbles Save the Day by Cristina Lalli, then experiment with magnetic painting.

Adults with intellectual or developmental delays are invited for a night at the movies. Popcorn provided. Please register for each session on the Olathe Parks and Rec website. 

Learn the basics of the designing software CorelDraw, a graphic design applications for vector illustration, layout, photo editing and more.

Celebrate National Humor Month with the improv team from Greenleaf Performing Arts Academy. Learn what improv is and play some fun games.

Join us to play a variety of tabletop games from the Center for Games & Learning at MNU's Mabee Library. Bring friends and play together or make new friends while you play. Snacks and drinks provided!

Read and discuss a book from a different genre each month. Participants will receive a free copy of the book upon registration.
