3D scanning is a process which analyzes a real-world object and translates it to a digital 3D model. This technology can be used to recreate objects through 3D printing or to accurately digitize an object for other applications.
The Lab at Indian Creek has a Einscan Pro HD 3D Scanner with a fixed scan accuracy of 0.04 mm, a handheld HD scan accuracy of up to 0.045 mm, and a handheld rapid scan accuracy of up to 0.1mm.
A minimum reservation of 30 minutes is required. The equipment will be held for 15 minutes past the reservation time. Reservations will be forfeited after 15 minutes.
