This quilt is a great way to use up a variety of scraps and learn raw edge sewing. The class will only cover the construction of blocks and settings.

You may decide what size quilt you want to make.

Each block needs:

1 (9”) square of background (variety of light to dark tans)

1 (8”) square of fabric for largest circle

1 (6”) square of fabric for the middle circle

1 (4”) square of fabric for smallest circle

The finished size of the block is 8” X 8”.

To make a 58” x 74” quilt (contains 2 borders) you will need the following amounts of fabric:

3 ¼ yards TOTAL of assorted tan prints for background

2 ½ yards TOTAL of assorted fabrics for large circle

1 ½ yards TOTAL of assorted fabrics for middle circle

¾ yard TOTAL of assorted fabrics for small circle

½ yard for inner border (decide after blocks are together)
