Program Description
Event Details
Join us to read and discuss a popular work of nonfiction. This season's selection is Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson. When you register, you'll receive a copy of the book that you can read and keep.
The sections we will read and discuss for each book club meeting are:
January 19 – Parts 1-3: The Man in the Crowd (p. xv) through Pillar Number 8: Inherent Superiority versus Inherent Inferiority February 16 – Parts 4 and 5: Brown Eyes versus Blue Eyes (p. 167) through chapter 24
March 16 - Parts 6-Epilogue: chapter 25 (p. 311) through epilogue
Books will be available for pickup at either Olathe Public Library location starting on Monday, December 28.
