Event Details

Bring your instrument and jam with us, share a song or just listen. Betse Ellis, a founding member of the Wilders, Betse & Clarke and Brushy Creek, leads the jam session. Expect fiddles, guitars, folk, blues and bluegrass.

Beste and Clarke will lead a sing and play-along from their home.

Message from Betse:

"For the time being, we will keep Tuesday Tunes online. But we have sure missed seeing your faces! That is why we are going to move our monthly jam to Zoom. Besides seeing each other and having more ways to interact, this will give us an opportunity to once again invite participants to lead songs if you want!

Many of you have likely participated in some kind of Zoom event this year. If not, don't worry -- it's easy, and free to download. You will want to download it rather than use the web page version for best results. You can get it here: https://zoom.us/

  - also, if possible, you might want to use your computer rather than smart phone for best results and adjustments to sound settings.

Now, technology still doesn't allow us to play together with everyone's sound on. So if you're not leading a song, you'll want to mute yourself. But we will all be able to see each other, and let me tell you, it makes a difference. Clarke and I hosted a Zoom jam for a music camp that went online this year, and it was so fun and heart-warming.

And of course, you can join us on Zoom and not play (maybe you'll sing along?), but we hope you'll play and we hope you will enjoy this shift, starting October 6.

We're over six years running with Tuesday Tunes, and musical concerts at the Library. That's a lot of music! Let's keep it going and enjoy the community connection that we will have with a video-based jam, until we can once again be together.

Looking forward to seeing you - be well, all.

Best,

Betse Ellis, host of Tuesday Tunes with Betse"
