We're bringing you Olathe Live! Over Lunch. We'll have live music on the patio of the Downtown Olathe Public Library on Tuesdays in June and July from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Get creative with a colorful painting session led by Pinot’s Palette of Olathe! In celebration of our Color Our World Summer Reading theme, you'll paint a vibrant design while sipping on your choice of delicious lemonade flavors.

Go diving for pirate treasure at the Olathe pools this summer! Chests of pirate treasure have spilled all over the pools. Collect everything on your pirate checklist and return it to the treasure chest for a prize.

Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Want to learn to make garments, accessories, afghans, stuffed animals, and so much more? Join us as we learn the absolute basics of crochet. All supplies will be provided.

Take a trip to explore two cities from well known fantasy stories. Try the local cuisine, see the beautiful scenery, and find a souvenir to take home with you to remember your visit.

Bring your favorite stuffed animal to a special storytime, then leave them at the library for an overnight sleepover! When you pick up your fuzzy friend on Saturday, you'll find out exactly what all the animals were up to all evening.
